Jefferson County, Washington Department of Health Cannabis Summit

June 18 @ 10:00 am - 2:30 pm

Drs. Cunningham and Von Feldt will be leading an all-day training prevention training on cannabis. The keynote address will focus on the adolescent brain, cutting edge research surrounding cannabis and vaping, and evidence-based strategies for effective cannabis prevention. Breakout sessions will then address cannabis & adolescent health plus strategies for evidence-based prevention. Provide training on brief intervention strategies to address cannabis use and lastly review current research on cannabis use & mental health and then address cannabis use & vaping in behavioral health care. Intended audience: prevention leaders, educators, behavioral health providers, law enforcement professionals, and social service providers in Jefferson County.
